The Warm Blanket

Once upon a time, there was a blanket unlike any other.

It was woven from golden thread gathered from the edge of the clouds at sunset, blue thread from the water of a morning lake, and pink thread from flowers blooming in the spring.

A girl named Noon received this blanket from her grandmother on her birthday.

“Wrap yourself in it, and you’ll have sweet dreams,” Grandmother told her.

On the first night, Noon wrapped herself in the blanket and closed her eyes.

She found herself standing in a field of white flowers, golden butterflies fluttering all around, a gentle breeze drifting through her hair.

She walked on and found a small cottage, warm inside, with a cup of hot chocolate waiting on the table.

Noon sat down and drank it, feeling warmth spread from the inside out.

Every night Noon wrapped herself in the blanket, she traveled somewhere new. Some nights she was beneath the sea, watching rainbow-colored fish swim by. Some nights she stood atop a mountain covered in soft white snow. Some nights she found herself in a village where every house glowed with lantern light.

And every morning when she woke, she felt completely rested and ready for the new day.

Noon asked her grandmother, “Is the blanket really magic?”

Grandmother smiled and said, “The magic isn’t in the blanket — it’s in your own heart, ready to dream of beautiful things. The blanket just keeps you warm enough to feel calm and dream well.”

Noon looked at the golden blanket in her hands, then held it close, knowing that tonight, she would journey somewhere new once again.

Close your eyes now… the warm blanket is waiting to carry you into the sweetest dreams…

Moral: A good dream doesn’t need much — just a calm heart, warmth, and a feeling of safety are enough to carry us to the most beautiful world, every single night.
